How it started, how it’s going? Deimante’s journey in the techworld
It is not hard to remember the day when my tech journey began. My job experiences started at the age of 15, and I was tired of working simple jobs which did not give any information, just skills making my performance better, faster, detailed, responsible, etc. Pouring rain behind the window, sloppy mood, and thoughts – so, what’s next? Within the next few minutes, I got a call from Miglė inviting me to join the “CyberCare” team. After looong and nice talk, I was amazed that I could become part of an organization with lots of cool and friendly people around. At first, it sounded suspicious because I had never heard about “CyberCare” and never knew that all my expectations, values, and goals reflect in one place. I was excited. I was a little scared but very eager to become one of the customer success managers. And here I am after half a year of my journey.
I was choosing between the evening and day shift, how it will be easier for me to synchronize my job, hobbies, and studies. Training started on the 15th of October in 2021, my first introduction to the day team, and I knew that I had made the best decision to be a part of their team. From the bottom of my heart, I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to meet these amazing peeps. As my training started, I received all the information, support, and genuine help from the team I would work with.
At first, I had to gather lots of information, learn to ask for help and not feel bad if I did not know something. The learning process still goes through to this day. Now I am helping my other teammates and am excited for more challenges in the future. Yes, there is a lot to do, but it never made me uncomfortable or scared because I could not ask for a better team as I am part of one. My personal view of the job image changed when I started to work here. You have to feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Even without a bachelor’s degree or any technical knowledge, career steps can and have to be made. It is all about the dedication to learning and being the best version of yourself.
It’s not only about the job we are doing. We are creating friendships and memories, having good laughs, sharing the pics of kittens and doggies, celebrating small and big achievements, and making memories. Having said that, to this day, it’s all about the journey. We are learning to trust, work together, ask and give help, support each other, listen and hear out, improve ourselves, share snacks with each other, learn from our mistakes and have one of the best times in our lives.
